The Noryangjin Fish Market is a large and vibrant fish and seafood center located in the Noryangjin-dong neighborhood
near the 63 Square and Han River.
The market is open 24 hours a day
but is at its best early in the morning during the auctions when the market comes alive with amazing and interesting seafood. Noryangjin Fish Market is conveniently located 15 minutes away from Yongsan Base.

Myung-Dong​
​
Myeongdong, located 15minutes away from Yongsan Base, is one of Seoul's main shopping and tourism districts.
Myeongdong is a popular area for young people and tourists as a center for fashion and sight-seeing.
Several large shopping centers and department stores are in the district including Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, Migliore, M Plaza, and Noon Square featuring mid-to-high priced retail stores and international brand outlets, as well as Korean cosmetics brands.

Samcheong-Dong
​
Samcheong-dong is one of the most unique places in Seoul, famous for its Bukchon Haok (Korean traditional houses) village with Gyeongbokgung Palace (the home of royalty during the Joseon Dynasty) on its left and Changdeokgung Palace (a secondary palace during the Joseon Dynasty) to its right, with Cheong Wa Dae (the President’s Office) and Insa-dong to the north and south respectively.
Samcheong-dong is located 20 minutes away from Yongsan Base.
Itaewon

Itaewon, conveniently located 5 minutes away from Yongsan Base on foot,
was the first special tourist zone in Seoul, designated in 1997. It is a multicultural place where over 20,000 foreigners live and is widely recognized by international visitors for its world food street, art museums, antique furniture street and clothes and accessories with unique designs, and many more.
With approximately 2,000 shops and stores lining every street, visitors can experience a multicultural atmosphere.
63 Square (Building)
The 63 Building / Square, conveniently located 15 minutes away from Yongsan Base, is a famous skyscraper on Yeoido island, overlooking the Han River in Seoul. At 250 meters (819) high, it was the tallest building outside North American when it first opened and remains the tallest gold-clad structure in the world. The 63 square features the world's highest art gallery and an observation deck known as the 63 Golden Tower that allows visitors to see as far as Incheon (40km away from seoul)
on clear days.
